Contraindications, side effects, etc.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to loteprednol etabonate or related corticosteroids. Contraindicated in patients with fungal or viral eye infections.
Warnings: Loteprednol etabonate is a corticosteroid and may increase the risk of elevated intraocular pressure, cataracts, and secondary eye infections. It should be used cautiously and under supervision.
Common Side Effects: Common side effects include eye irritation, burning, and stinging.
