Mechanism of Action
Stains degenerate cells, dead cells, and mucus; highlights corneal filaments and plaques . It also binds to the nuclei of severely damaged cells and has shown an antiviral effect in vitro.

Common Side Effects: Lissamine Green is well-tolerated and does not usually sting when applied. However, it may cause some mild irritation in the eye.
