
Indication
Anterior uveitis, intermediate and posterior uveitis

Mechanism of Action
Inhibits phospholipase, reducing arachidonic acid and inflammatory mediators

Available Quantities
1, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 50 mg tablets

Dosage/Instructions
Anterior uveitis: 10-20 mg orally twice daily for 5 days; Posterior/panuveitis: Up to 30 mg orally twice daily

Pregnancy & Nursing
Teratogenic in many species in doses equivalent to the human dose; no well-controlled human studies

Pediatric Use
≥1 month

Contraindications, side effects, etc.
