Naphazoline is a sympathomimetic amine that acts as a vasoconstrictor, reducing redness in the eye. Pheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, reducing itching and watering of the eyes

Contraindications, side effects, etc.

Warnings: Not to be used by individuals allergic to naphazoline or pheniramine. Exercise caution if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, urination problems, or narrow-angle glaucoma. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without a doctor’s advice. Should not be used in children under 6 years old without doctor’s advice. Avoid prolonged use as it may worsen symptoms and damage blood vessels in the eyes. Side Effects: Common side effects include mild burning or stinging of the eye, dilated pupils, blurred vision, and increased sensitivity to light. Serious side effects can include ongoing or worsening eye redness, eye pain, and changes in vision.
